The organizers of the Legacy Festival have had a tough month. Since the official cancellation of Manowar, things have been going back and forth! Reports came and went like at a coffee gossip session of the Golden Girls! But now the discussions seem to have reached a bitter end, as the organizers have officially canceled the festival!
Hello dear LOA fans, after battling on all fronts for the past few weeks, we unfortunately have no choice but to cancel the festival. We fought until the last second for the continuation of the event and still lost. We are very sorry! For us, a great dream also dies with this. We can only apologize to you. You have followed the reporting and the opinion-making on Facebook in recent days and weeks. We would like to talk more openly about our problems and the reasons for the cancellation, but we are currently unable to do so. Unfortunately, you only have the option to read between the lines for further information, even though you certainly deserve more in-depth clarification. Please do not exhaust yourselves with conspiracy theories and hate tirades – that unfortunately does not help any of us anymore. We did not take this step lightly, as we had hoped to experience an unforgettable festival with all of you. But in the current situation, we cannot continue with a clear conscience and try to save the festival, as every day we leave you in the dark is one too many. Regarding ticket refunds, you will be informed by email within the next week. Please contact your ticket outlets if you have questions. We will delete this Facebook page in a few days. Further information will then be exclusively available on the homepage www.legacy-open-air.de. You can also always reach us via email at info@legacy-open-air.de.
