"Bars And Battle Scars Vol. 1" East Grand Record Co. releases label sampler
The bustling punk rock label East Grand Record Co. originated from a
small vinyl shop in Lansing, Michigan. For the release of the first full-length album by Rick Barton's new band "Continental" in 2012, a loan was taken out, leading to the formation of an enthusiastic music collective that specializes primarily in the areas of folk, punk rock, and street punk.
With "Bars And Battle Scars," the label is now releasing its first sampler.
Alongside bands like The Hex Bombs and Hijinx, Chicago's Brick Assassin is also featured. The new band from Flatfoot 56 mastermind Kyle Bawinkel has contributed an unreleased song, just like all the other bands.
The vinyl edition of the sampler has already been released and is limited to 500 copies (200 of which are on black vinyl with white splatters).
The digital version was released on October 26, 2013.
