Artist: BROADCASTER (New York / USA)
Title: A Million Hours
Releasedate: 25.10.2013
Label: Ass-Card Records
Catalog No.: ACR 044
Format: CD, LP + Download code
Distribution: Cargo Records (G,A,S,UK) Sonic Rendezvous (Benelux)
Broadcaster from Long Island/NY present their first album "A Million Hours". Following the 7" EP "Tightrope Walker" released last year, they continue on their path and impress with a full-length album. Their trademark is sugary sweet melodies in poppy songs that still do not deny their punk rock roots. It is easy to see that the three guys have a great fondness for Superchunk, The Weakerthans, and Bob Mould. Their singalongs temporarily transport the listener back to the 90s without sounding outdated or dusty. For some, it may be poppier punk, and for others, it may be punkier pop. Broadcaster has written 10 timeless and captivating songs with which they aim to bring back a piece of summer at the beginning of autumn. Produced, recorded, and mixed by J. Robbins (Jawbox, Burning Airlines) and mastered by Dan Coutant (Coliseum, Mono, Joshua).
Broadcaster will be on tour in Europe and the UK from 06.11. to 02.12.2013.
