Founded in 2003 in Huntington Beach, California, 'The Dirty Heads' released their debut album "Any Port In A Storm" in September 2008 and immediately achieved their first major success with the song "Lay Me Down." The track spent a total of eleven weeks at number one on the US Alternative Billboard Charts, and Rolling Stone magazine dubbed 'The Dirty Heads' as "one of the best new bands of the year."
In 2012, the second and current album "Cabin By The Sea" followed, produced by Mario C (Beastie Boys, Tone Loc) and Lewis Richards, through the label Five Seven Music.
The songs on the long player exude pure joy of life and "preserve" summer.
"That's exactly what we wanted to achieve with the album," explains frontman Jared "Dirty J" Watson, "The title alone says it all. No matter where you are or what situation you're in, listen to the album and let it transport you to the cabin by the sea. Breathe!".
In addition to the collaboration with Rome Ramirez, "Cabin By the Sea" also features Del the Funky Homosapien, KyMani Marley, and Matisyahu. The band toured with the latter as co-headliner through the USA in the summer of 2012.
In November, 'The Dirty Heads' will now also take us back to summer in Germany with their untamed energy, captivating songs, and good vibes for a few moments!
