ALBUM RELEASE: 01.11.2013
(Distribution: Groove Attack/Good To Go)
They are bread. Resistance is futile.
No other band resonates on the collective wavelength like the 2 funny 3 from Hamburg North West. Just 18 months after the start of their 'trial separation', they scratched each other's doors again, threw pebbles at the windows, spied through mutual friends, wondering how it stood: "Does he miss me?", "Is his damn solo album coming out??", "What does he want in Oslo???". This howling grew louder and louder. In short: Without the echo of HIM and HER, it was lonely in the universe.
When one was just tumbling alone on television in the summer of 2012 and looked somewhat amputated, the others met quite coincidentally in the shared think tank (the doorbell says: Studio Iglesias), chopped a watermelon to celebrate the day, grabbed the first LP from the vinyl room of the studio neighbor (for the nerds: it was Sexual Harassment's "If I Gave You A Party" from 1983) and spontaneously wrote an invitation to number 3 on a quickly bounced loop to drop by there real quick. He probably understood the message, and that ringing invitation card became the Big Bang of the new FB album, which will be freely titled after Andy Warhol, namely:
"3 is a Party".
Finally escalating again: Fettes Brot will send us on a word, sound & space trip through time starting from 01.11.13, built from disco rap, ePhunk, and breakneck hip hop - 1980 - 1990 - 2000 - 2010 - and back to the future.
