Emscherkurve 77 takes off

The Emscherkurve 77 has set ambitious goals for 2006. With a new lineup, they are currently working on recordings for two compilation contributions, "Hooligan Streetwear" and "Sunny Bastard Sampler". A new album is scheduled to be released in the middle of next year, aiming to connect with the successful records "Die Macht vom Niederrhein" and "Lern ma Deutsch" without major experiments. They are also trying to make an international breakthrough with an exclusive release planned for the USA, which is expected to be completed before the end of 2006. With a six-member lineup including Benni (SS-Kaliert) and Marcel (Tears of Blood / Headbanging Indians) on guitars, Sebo (Skunk Allstars / DKU) on bass, Stoffel (Radiant Boys) on drums, and Stefan Spiller (Ruhrpott Rejects) along with Marc Böhle (Projekt / Sondaschule / Porters / Folkabilly Bastards) handling the vocals, there will also be plenty of live performances.
