After 24 sold-out shows of his concert tour "Project Seerosenteich", Philipp Poisel recorded his unique variety-dream-theater-circus-show concert live at the legendary Circus Krone in Munich for the Live Album (release on 17.8.) and the DVD (release in autumn 2012). This was so far the last of many highlights of a unique, truly remarkable exceptional career of the Ludwigsburg artist. However, in December, Philipp Poisel will follow up after some festival appearances in the summer, and the "Project Seerosenteich" will be sent on tour again, performing in Nuremberg (07.12., Meistersingerhalle), Munich (08.12., Circus Krone), Aachen (10.12., Eurogress), Luxembourg (11.12., Philharmonie) and Frankfurt (12.12., Alte Oper).
That Philipp Poisel has perhaps become something like a pop star by now was certainly not intentional. After two successful studio albums "Where Does Your Sky Begin?" (2008) and "To Toulouse" (2010), which spent well over a year in the sales charts and is currently back in the top 75, larger stages followed. Despite the great success and over a quarter of a million units sold of the first albums - both now certified Gold - Philipp Poisel resisted the usual clichés of pop music. After a long festival summer in 2011, Philipp wanted to return to those intimate moments that made his concerts in the early years so special for him and his fans. Opening his own cosmos for the listeners on small stages. The idea for the "Project Seerosenteich" was born!

And this is how the enthusiastic press sees it: "The Stuttgarter is known for painting pictures in his head" (INTRO), "Magical concert tour" (Hamburger Morgenpost), "Solo, he intones with breathtaking intensity, musically he reaches far" (Kölnische Rundschau), "Three hours of goosebumps feeling. You could listen to this Poisel for an eternity" (Schwäbische Post).
