The 5BUGS are no more, or rather, they will soon be no more. On their homepage, the Berliners announce that they will dissolve at the end of this year. Only one tour in the fall will follow before the final split.
It is not easy to write these words here, but after over eleven years of band history, we have decided to end the rock era of 5BUGS at the end of the year. You can believe us, it was not an easy decision; it has been damn good eleven years, it was our life. But sometimes you have to move on and try new things.
But of course, we will not just quietly slip away, as that has never been our style, so we will load the tour bus one last time in the fall and go on our very last tour - our farewell tour, the "Mit Pauken und Trompeten Tour 2012".
