Born out of a whim nearly a year ago, seven people who had previously been active in various musical genres formed the "shortest band in the world". It was meant to be a one-gig wonder, meaning a band that wants to play exactly one concert one year after its formation before disbanding again. Stylistically, they have settled on danceable ska-punk, and since then, it has been all about rehearsing and preparing for November 25. On that day, they will take the stage under the name Wellensittichsalat at FZW Dortmund for their first and definitely last live performance. They will be supported by Lama from Switzerland. After the band performances, the celebration will continue with the DJs Sweet Sensation. Tickets should be quickly purchased in advance for 6 euros, as the concert is already nearly sold out.
In the meantime, in addition to various merchandise, there is also the five-track CD "Rock du Kasper" available for five euros directly on the band's homepage. It is assumed that this limited edition of only 300 copies will also be the only musical output that will remain for posterity.
