On Friday, April 27, 2012, the MONSTER BASH returns to Berlin for its second round, exceeding all expectations with the reunited REFUSED. For plenty of punk rock, LAGWAGON, ANTI-FLAG, HOT WATER MUSIC, and other acts will also perform. For the more sensitive fans, CHUCK RAGAN, TOMMY GABEL, and DAVE HAUSE will play a joint acoustic set.
After the grand premiere of the MONSTER BASH last year, the bar has been set extremely high for 2012. With the confirmation of REFUSED, one can speak of a small sensation; after years of rumors about a reunion of the hardcore punk legends, they finally grace the stage again after 14 years, and the MONSTER BASH is their European premiere! As headliners, they will transform the Berlin Columbiahalle into a cauldron on April 27, 2012, with songs like "New Noise."
LAGWAGON is among the most successful bands that have not released their records on a major label but prefer to stay with Fat Wreck Records. Their international breakthrough came in 1995 with the album "Hoss," from which they will certainly perform a song or two at the Monster Bash.
In 2012, ANTI-FLAG is gearing up for a big strike: "The General Strike" is not only the title of their new album but also the motto with which the punk quartet will bring a hefty dose of power to the MONSTER BASH stage.
Three men, one stage. CHUCK RAGAN, TOMMY GABEL, and DAVE HAUSE will unpack their acoustic guitars and show a quieter side at the Monster Bash. For CHUCK RAGAN, it’s a little warm-up before he will tear down the Columbiahalle an hour later with his band HOT WATER MUSIC.
