STEFANIE HEINZMANN is back: 2012 kicks off with her new single “Diggin’ In The Dirt” from her third album! She is the anti-casting casting star of the local music scene: Discovered during Stefan Raab's search for talents that cannot be squeezed into any casting mold, Stefanie Heinzmann has become one of the most successful newcomers and musicians. Her first album “Masterplan” went platinum, at the “Echo 2009” she won the award for best artist in the “Rock/Pop national” category, at the “Swiss Music Award 2009” she took home two trophies, and at the “Comet 2009” she won the award for “Best Live Act”, followed by the gold album “Roots To Grow”, including the single “No One Can Ever Change My Mind” and the duet with Gentleman and the lead track “Roots To Grow”.
In 2011, Stefanie Heinzmann spent all her time performing live with her band: She traveled across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. In parallel, the new songs for the album, which will be released on March 16, 2012, were created. Songwriting abroad, in the UK and USA, as well as in Germany, has allowed the charming artist to mature further. With the single launch “Diggin’ In The Dirt”, the first powerful masterpiece is now on the horizon.
