One can think a lot about/for a special edition. Nowadays, it often suffices to change the vinyl color to add value to the record. Artificial scarcity to generate additional demand works excellently, but it only symbolizes a petty-bourgeois mentality.
Do-it-yourself in the true sense means doing it better than the mainstream:
Developing ideas, realizing dreams, creating something whose value lies in active engagement, and above all: not letting oneself be co-opted. And that’s exactly how this record came to be. From the idea to the finished record, it was a long, arduous, and at the same time beautiful journey.
