Thursday Demo Songs Surface in File Sharing Networks

The emo rockers Thursday from New Jersey usually do not join in the lament of the music industry when it comes to file sharing. In fact, they even support it as an affordable way for artists to gain more recognition. However, the competition among releasers to be the first to circulate a new album has now caused some trouble. Five untitled demo tracks from the upcoming new album have been posted online. Since these are still undergoing significant revisions, they should never have reached the public. It remains unclear how the songs found their way into the file sharing networks. A download link in the official Thursday forum has (not) yet been censored.
