The Australian quartet ALL MANKIND has confirmed four shows with MADS LANGER in Germany.
About six weeks ago, the Aussie rockers from ALL MANKIND decided to make their way to Europe.
Quote from frontman Rich Beeston: "Australia is a big country, but there are many areas where no one lives. The territory has simply become too small for our music, and we have decided to move our residence to Europe for a longer period. This is definitely an adventure, and we are all aware of that. But after playing our first shows in Europe last year, namely in the UK, we realized that there are a lot of fans for our music in Europe. Let’s try it!"
A few weeks ago, ALL MANKIND presented themselves to the German audience for the first time during a short support tour that took them to Braunschweig, Erfurt, Krefeld, and Hamburg.
Richard Beeston says: "We also saw here that we have a very good audience with our music; as the opening act, we even had to play encores, which will never happen to you as a support act in Australia, and we sold a lot of merch. Merch numbers speak a true language."
"You can imagine all you want that an audience found you great, but when you sell a T-shirt or a CD to almost 50% of the audience almost every night on a tour, like it happened at the club shows in Germany, then you know they like you and you should come here more often."
ALL MANKIND are no longer unknown on international ground. Specifically in the USA, ALL MANKIND have successfully placed songs from their debut album in recent months.
Their songs from the current album "Simple Desire" can be heard on major US TV series like "Gossip Girl" or the EMMY Award-winning TV show "Jamie Oliver’s cooking revolution". Another song from the album can be found in the new EA Sports game FIFA 2012.
Now ALL MANKIND are coming back to Germany for a few shows. As part of the program before MADS LANGER, ALL MANKIND will play the following dates:
08.11.11 Munich, Atomic Cafe
09.11.11 Berlin, Franz Club
12.11.11 Hamburg, Prinzenbar
13.11.11 Werkstatt, Cologne
