ANNA TERNHEIM “The Night Visitor” [Album]
Release Date: 28.10.11 Universal Music
Quietly and subtly, the young Swede has developed into an unmistakable music figure in Germany with her acoustic independent ballads. Since her songs were featured in Wallander crime dramas, her voice has become a hallmark. The new songs from the album "The Night Visitor," recorded in Nashville with many folk and rock legends like Matt Sweeney and Dave Ferguson, and accompanied by a battered Gibson guitar from the 1930s, are her catchiest and most moving yet. Anna Ternheim's fourth album in a way illustrates the essence of her being: she is an old soul with a fearless, almost childlike desire for the unexplored. She sings like an earthly angel about defeats and victories, acquaintances and companions, life and death.
