BOY Album “Mutual Friends” enters the German Sales Charts at position #14!
BOY is undoubtedly the surprise of late summer. The two musicians, Valeska Steiner and Sonja Glass, and their debut work “Mutual Friends” are currently impossible to overlook. Their debut album has not only entered the German Sales Charts at position #14, but their first single “Little Numbers” has also become a summer hit on the radio, and the accompanying video spread like wildfire worldwide on the internet. After their appearance on the renowned TV show “NDR Talk Show”, their album shot up to the Top 3 on iTunes and even reached #1 on Amazon's Sales Charts. Further TV appearances, such as on the ARD show “Ina’s Nacht”, have already been confirmed.
Pop can sound banal and cheap, like an overly sweet chocolate bar for braces-wearing kids. Here, however, poetic realism meets captivating melodies. A mix that can effortlessly save your day, as Valeska Steiner and Sonja Glass are refreshingly lively, humorous, full of self-irony and drive.
This fall, the two musicians will go on tour with their band. Some of the dates have already been moved to larger venues due to high demand, and even these are partially sold out!
