The extreme sports punk rock combo DAN DRYERS will release their first teaser for the upcoming second album "Class Of Their Own" on August 13, 2010, with "Rock n Roll Attitude" (B-side: the Manitoba's Wild Kingdom cover version "The Party Starts Now").
The entertaining music video for "Rock n Roll Attitude" is now available on the DAN DRYERS MySpace page:

DAN DRYERS - Rock n Roll Attitude (B-side: The Party Starts Now, Paranoia Productions/ New Music Distribution, release date: 13.08.2010) The new song from the extreme sports combo, consisting of freestyle icon Busty Wolter, mountain bike legends Martin Donat and Frank Weckert, dirt jump pro Till Overwien on vocals, garage punk veteran Jörg Jay Stuhldreier, and the new drummer Das Tier, formerly of Heartbreak Motel, is noticeably harder.
You shot an entertaining music video for your single "Rock´n´Roll Attitude" which will be released on August 20, 2010? What can you tell us about the video shoot?
The video shoot was insane. We staged a fake acceleration race in an old blast furnace with really cool vintage cars, a 72 Ford Ranchero pickup and a 72 Dodge Challenger with a 440 Charger engine. During a burnout, the drive belt broke, and the servo belt twisted; unfortunately, it completely flew off on the highway, and we couldn't steer properly anymore. Then we spun 180° at 120 km/h on the highway. Luckily, the trucks swerved; otherwise, it would have ended badly. During the club shoot, Busty (police officer) and I (biker) waved at people, and it was really funny to see their reactions.
When is the new album planned? Where and with whom will you record it? What can we expect musically?
The album titled Dan Dryers “A Class of their own” is planned for November, and we will be recording again at Blubox with Guido Lucas. Guido is really great, and the chemistry is fantastic. He also perfectly captures our sound. Musically and lyrically, we have evolved. We will definitely remain a crazy punk rock combo; while some lyrics on the last album were more at a 15-year-old level, we have now reached an 18-year-old level, haha. Musically, we have become a bit harder; there are also some hard rock solos and not just garage punk sound. We will also have some guest musicians on our album; BMX legend Mike Emde from Carhartt already created a brilliant solo on the single Rock n Roll Attitude. Mike can play any song by Metallica and Iron Maiden blindfolded.
What live shows are coming up? What does a typical DAN DRYERS live show look like? In mid and late August, there are shows at BMX, skateboard, and mountain bike festivals. In the fall, we plan to tour Germany extensively. Unfortunately, we have to postpone the Japan tour; all dates were already set, the Japanese saw our Senseless video and went crazy, but unfortunately, one of the bands that wanted to tour with us split up, such is life. There is no typical Dan Dryers show; we always come up with something new. We once played at a festival simultaneously with the fantastic Cromags; we had just 10 fans, and after 10 minutes of pyro feathers, beer, and flour action, there was more going on with us than with the Cromags.
