Last Thursday, three musicians lost their lives in a car accident in Skokie, Illinois. The friends Michael Dahlquist (39), drummer for Silkworm, John Glick (35), guitarist of the Returntables, and Douglas Meis (29), who played with Exo and The Dials, had no chance when a car crashed into theirs from behind while they were waiting at a red light. Their Honda Civic was pushed into the intersection, where it was struck by oncoming traffic. Two other individuals were also injured in the incident. The 23-year-old driver of the accident vehicle, who sustained only minor injuries, later told police that she had been stressed with her mother and wanted to end her life. She is now set to face trial for triple homicide.
