Across The Border: Back for Two Concerts

In November 2002, they celebrated their "definitely last concert" at the Substage Karlsruhe, which was bursting at the seams. For one last time, the hard guitars, violin, and accordion paired with the always political lyrics echoed. Then the paths of the regionally almost cult-like folk punks from Across The Border parted ways. Some of the band members regrouped in the newly formed band Ahead To The Sea, where similar sounds were played. Singer Jochen lent his voice to both this band and the two-man outfit Tora Tora Bora. In October of this year, they will return to their roots for two exclusive gigs. On October 27 and 28, Across The Border will perform at Cafe Atlantik, Freiburg, and at Substage Karlsruhe. Support will come from Big Bag of Sticks from Ireland. Fans should reserve their tickets early, as they are expected to sell out quickly.
