I have just shut down the old Punk music site. A farewell forever, but one never truly leaves. In fact, the site has only been completely revamped, although not a single stone (or bit) remains from the old one. What has emerged is p-u-n-k.de. Alongside the external redesign, the heart has also been completely redeveloped. Finally, bands can register themselves and manage their entries independently. Many old features have been removed, but several new ones have been added. Just take a look around and discover the possibilities that await you. Surely, with such a new site, there may still be some issues. So don't hesitate to inform me about them via the contact form or internal messages.
You might miss a significant part of the Punk music site - the MP3s. The most important aspect of the site has always been the information about the mostly very unknown bands. The MP3s supported this information, as a few samples of the musical creations certainly say more than comparisons with bands that no one knows or complicated, never accurate descriptions. For this reason, my next big project is to bring the MP3s back to the site. This will certainly take some time; after all, I have already reached the point where I can transfer relatively large files to the server without interruptions. Now I need to think about how to best implement an MP3 section. Probably, downloads will only be available for registered members. This is intended to conserve the bandwidth of the server kindly provided by scram.de, but it would also allow for a more accurate statistic for the bands regarding the popularity of their songs.
