The time has come, in Mannheim there is now the ultimate answer to the Popakademie. It is called Rock'n'Roll Highschool. A school whose seminars mostly take place in the evenings, where anyone can study and also teach themselves. A school that enables lifelong learning, because at the Rock'n'Roll Highschool there are no degrees, no grades, no exams.
The courses are not designed to produce marketable music as quickly as possible, but rather aim to convey to all interested parties how it is possible to produce culture beyond neoliberal constraints. There are no differences between teachers and students here; anyone who wants to can sign up and/or teach themselves.
