COURTNEY LOVE: Beating for Mother-in-Law

At a court hearing on Tuesday in Los Angeles, singer and COBAIN widow COURTNEY LOVE allegedly assaulted her late husband's mother, Wendy O'Connor. The altercation occurred as custody of LOVE and KURT COBAIN's eleven-year-old daughter, Francis Bean, was to be discussed. The girl had been taken from the care of the HOLE frontwoman after she attempted to break into her own home while under the influence of drugs and was subsequently hospitalized due to an overdose. Daughter Francis Bean is currently being cared for by an aunt.
