A new, large-scale project is launching at the URL http://das-rockt.de. The creators see their site as an online magazine focused on rock, metal, and punk. There are reports on concerts, events, happenings, and festivals, as well as everything related to music. Emphasis is placed on the community, where members of the site can get to know each other better once registered. There is a dedicated guestbook for every visitor, a short messaging system, buddy list, a forum, and much more.
This year, a festival guide is planned, which will be published in print form. It is intended to contain information about all major festivals. The print run will depend on the available budget. A print run of around 30,000 copies is hoped for.
One of the larger internet radios in Germany has signed a contract with #Musik. With this support, the broadcaster does not need to fear the planned fee increase by GVL. Some bands are already being supported. So far, Hate 2 Lose and Massendefekt can be pleased about this. Much is still planned for the future, so a visit to the site, which is still being actively worked on, is definitely worthwhile: http://das-rockt.de.
