Robin Heaton has died

On November 4, former member of New Model Army, Robin Heaton, unexpectedly passed away due to cancer. He was the drummer for the band from 1982 to 1998. Many of the lyrics, such as "Poison St" and "Here Comes the War," were created with his assistance. In 1998, he had to leave New Model Army to recover from treatment for his brain tumor. Since then, he tirelessly worked on new projects like "Fresh Milk," which aimed to encourage young bands to play new, original music. He supported them by producing high-quality yet affordable live recordings. Additionally, he composed film music for independent films and worked on his own material with his new band "The Gardeners Of Eden." He is survived by his wife Robyn and a son.
