Slime announce the release date of their first album after 18 years. "Sich fügen heißt lügen" will be released on June 15, 2012, via People Like You Records. The album is described as "the result and a response to a world out of control, a clarifying punch in the diffuse 'Occupy' era," writes the band. However, the aging stalwarts of punk still need to prove how much they can deliver on this bold announcement.
An extensive tour will follow in the fall after some festival appearances in the summer. The new songs will be heard live for the first time at the Ruhrpott-Rodeo on May 27, 2012, in Hünxe.
