On May 13 and 14, I am organizing a benefit concert for the Fortuna Fan Aktion "Gib dein letztes Hemd," which is organized annually by fans at the Fortuna Stadium. The idea is as follows: F95 fans are called to bring clothing items that will be collected for the homeless, so that those without a permanent residence can somewhat get through the winter. In my opinion, this is a very good initiative, but just a drop in the bucket. The collected clothing will go directly to the organizations that will then distribute it to those in need (e.g., Trebe Cafe Düsseldorf). We want to raise awareness through the concert that there are people who rely on such assistance. The proceeds from the ticket sales will then go directly to the Trebe Cafe through the organizers of the aforementioned initiative.
We hope for a large turnout and an amazing party. There will also be a Rock’n'Roll raffle and a nice after-show party on Friday, May 13 and 14, 2011.
Start time each day is at 7 PM.
Advance tickets: BAR 95 starting April 1.
