Gema has already recognized that there's no money to be made from selling records anymore. Instead, music consumers are increasingly expected to pay up at live concerts. It may not be entirely clear why CDs still often cost around 20 euros at the checkout. Bands without the backing of major music labels are doing better; they often give away complete albums for free. Because this is a nice gesture that deserves attention, here is a list of bands that certainly deserve to have their live concerts attended.
