In 2004, Rocko Schamoni published his book Dorfpunks, in which he reflects on his past in the late 70s and early 80s. For two beers, he transferred the film rights to his friend Lars Jessen, who quickly set about bringing the story to the screen. This has been accomplished, and soon the film will be showing in cinemas. Premieres start on April 15, before it officially kicks off on April 23. The film is typically shown for only one week, so anyone who doesn't want to miss it should better choose their date now at http://dorfpunks-derfilm.de/ and mark it clearly in their calendar. For those who arrive too late, the DVD will be released at the end of October.
