The Lüneburg heavy rockers DAMN!ESCAPE are back with big news: Their new single "Midnight Masquerade" will be released on October 23, 2026. The song not only strikes dark tones just in time for the upcoming Halloween festival but also marks the official kickoff for the next major milestone in the band's history: The second studio album "Silent Truth," which is scheduled for release on September 24, 2027.
With "Midnight Masquerade," DAMN!ESCAPE takes a noticeably heavier, more atmospheric direction. The track combines threatening ritual vibes and dark horror aesthetics with powerful riffs, driving grooves, and the usual catchy hooks. Sound-wise, the single is likely to appeal particularly to fans of acts like Spiritbox, Halestorm, or Bad Omens.
The band's motto "Between darkness and euphoria" is consistently reflected here as well: The song navigates the tension between raw hardness, emotional depth, and captivating melodies. The accompanying music video visually underscores the eerie atmosphere of the single.
Since their founding in 2014 in Lüneburg, the band has gradually built a loyal fan base. With over 100 completed live shows, more than 200,000 Spotify streams, and over 100,000 YouTube views, DAMN!ESCAPE is among the most active and energetic representatives of modern German heavy rock.
Following earlier releases such as the EP Dark Night Begins (2018) and the debut album Devil’s Friend (2022), they are now ushering in the next chapter with "Midnight Masquerade."
