EUROPE released the title track from their new studio album "Come This Madness" on September 22, 2026, which comes out this Friday.

After nine years, Europe is now returning with "Come This Madness" – their twelfth studio album and their most powerful musical statement to date, set to be released on September 25 via Silver Lining Music / Hell & Back Recordings. Europe, one of the few bands that rose to fame in the 80s and still exists in its original lineup,** has experienced it all, continually moving forward, never standing still, evolving steadily, adapting, and yet advancing uncompromisingly.
"With the new album Come This Madness, we wanted to write and produce songs in the spirit of the old days," says Joey Tempest, founding member and frontman of Europe. "There are plenty of catchy melodies and big choruses, and we worked hard on the production. We had a lot of fun working on the album in the studio. The entire album has strong references to our past, and I believe many Europe fans will love it!" The new album opens another chapter in the ongoing success story of Europe. "For this album, we looked at what is happening in the world and tried to describe some of it in our songs. But ultimately, it's about entertainment, about music – and above all, about having fun!" summarizes Joey Tempest.
"Come This Madness" was recorded at RMV Studio, the Stockholm recording studio founded by Benny and Ludvig Andersson. The album features guest appearances from Tobias Forge (Ghost) and Michael Åkerfeldt (Opeth) and was produced by the acclaimed producer Tom Dalgety (Ghost, Rammstein, Pixies, The Cult, Opeth), who proved to be a driving creative force throughout the process, deeply involved in the band's songwriting and recording process, shaping the sound of the album. To complete the project and fulfill their vision, the band turned to one of the most respected legends of rock music, Mike Fraser (AC/DC, Van Halen, Metallica, The Cult, Loverboy), who mixed the album. The album artwork was created at Storm Studios (Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, and Muse).
With "Come This Madness," Europe delivers a groundbreaking album that showcases them in their full maturity and presence, presenting the world as it is, unvarnished. In addition to the upcoming release, the band will embark on a major tour to celebrate the 40th anniversary of "The Final Countdown." The "The Final Countdown 40th Anniversary Tour" kicks off on September 30 in Glasgow and promises to connect the legacy that has shaped them with the new energy that drives them today.
"Come This Madness" will be released on September 25 via Silver Lining Music as vinyl, CD, and in digital formats.
