After a fantastic Folkfield Festival weekend, SCHANDMAUL announces the continuation of their FOLKFIELD FESTIVAL for 2027.
On September 4, 2027, it will once again be: Folk, medieval, and rock unite at the Rhein-Herne Canal, as the Folkfield Festival takes place for the fifth time at the amphitheater in Gelsenkirchen. What began in 2022 has long since become a fixed meeting point for fans of folk-rock, medieval sounds, and energetic shows.
Schandmaul invites as hosts to the amphitheater in Gelsenkirchen to indulge in folk and medieval rock alongside friendly bands in a lively atmosphere. With the Folkfield Festival, Schandmaul has quickly managed to establish a new scene event for the folk and medieval community.
With its unique location right by the water, the unmistakable atmosphere full of music, friendship, and unforgettable moments, the Folkfield Festival 2027 will again be a must-attend event for all who love folk and medieval rock. There will also be a medieval market.
The guests in 2027 are Versengold as headliners, Sagenbringer, Irdorath, and of course Schandmaul. More acts will be announced soon.
