When musicians from The Gaslight Anthem, Kid Dynamite, Midtown, and None More Black come together, the punk rock world takes notice. Behind the name Town Liar is exactly such a high-profile group from New Jersey: Benny Horowitz (drums), Nick Remondelli (guitar), Heath Saraceno (bass), and Jason Shevchuk (vocals/guitar). Their debut album "Lies: One Through Seven" will be released on September 4, 2026, via Not Sorry Records for the first time on vinyl.
The four band members share a decades-long history and friendship in the punk and alternative scene. What originally started as a relaxed exchange of demos gradually grew into a full-fledged project. The result is a melodic, catchy sound that is unmistakably rooted in the punk tradition of New Jersey.
A special treat for collectors and advocates of physical media: The album refuses to be available on common streaming platforms. "Lies: One Through Seven" is digitally available exclusively through Bandcamp and will be released on vinyl in a strictly limited edition of only 300 copies.
The record will be available starting September 4, 2026, directly through Not Sorry Records and at selected record stores.
