Melodic skate punk supply on vinyl: Fire Sale (Los Angeles) and The Corps (Vancouver) will release a joint split EP titled Split Decision on September 4, 2026. The release will be available digitally as well as on 7-inch vinyl through Negative Progression Records, with pre-orders starting on the release day.
Both bands contribute two tracks each, combining the best of fast, catchy punk rock with plenty of attitude and heart.
Fire Sale – The band, featuring musicians with a history in Face to Face, No Use For A Name, The Ataris, Down By Law, and The Iron Roses, contributes the songs "Kill the Noise" (a personal track about mental health and inner turmoil) and "Dies Irae" (a direct, bass-driven statement against political power games and injustice).
The Corps – The Canadians, who have already been on tour this year with Ignite and Strung Out, set a fast pace with "Imposter Syndrome," addressing self-doubt on stage. Their second track "Another World" combines mid-tempo Descendents vibes with comic romance.
