In the track, the Freiburg band explores the question of why the constant drive for growth, status, and possession is celebrated as a virtue in our society, even though no one really knows where it is supposed to lead. Thematically, the band does not just point fingers at others but also holds themselves and their own consumer and success-driven behavior accountable.
Musically, the trio consisting of Matze, Hanni, and Gäschi operates in the intersection of furious rock, punk, and post-hardcore. For fans of bands like FJØRT, Heisskalt, Marathonmann, or Kind Kaputt, this is definitely worth a listen. Additionally, Mathias Bloech from Heisskalt contributed as a co-writer on the song. The recording, mixing, and mastering were handled by Konstantin Cajkin (Connasound).
