Die Cigaretten are launching new material – and it sounds exactly as you would expect from the band: loud, broken, raw, and tender at the same time. The title of the new album captures the attitude perfectly: "A Healthy Reaction to a Sick World". Fun fact on the side: The record almost had the working title "Chair from the Bulky Waste".
Content-wise, the album revolves around the typical rollercoaster rides of life – between great love, uncertain separations, chaos, and sudden hope. Musically, there’s no smoothed-out radio pop structure here, but unpolished rock 'n' roll: sometimes a bit awkward, sometimes straight to the point, but at all times honest and at the limit.
