With "SCHWIEGERMAMAS ALBTRAUM", Moonkid ☾ and Thalis release a song that combines emo-rap and punk rock, bridging the gap between a defining scene anthem and a new generation. The single is a tribute to "Besteste Band" by Swiss & Die Andern - a song whose sound alone has produced over 71,000 user-generated contents on TikTok and which remains one of the most influential german-speaking punk rock tracks of the social media generation. While Moonkid ☾ is currently emerging as one of the most exciting new voices between emo-rap, alternative, and punk, Thalis brings a raw honesty to the collaboration. Together, they create a sound that appeals to both fans of modern emo-rap music and listeners from the alternative and punk scenes.
