The end of the Libelle?
Save the Libelle!
The only self-managed leftist cultural and communication center in downtown Leipzig is facing closure. Rent (360 euros), electricity (100 euros), telephone/internet (65 euros), and insurance (10 euros) cost the Libelle 535 euros per month. We urgently depend on people who can transfer a larger or smaller amount to the project each month for financing. About 250 euros come in each month - so currently, we are missing 290 euros per month!
The Libelle is independent of the state and political parties. Therefore, we want and can only help ourselves financially! The Libelle provides many people and groups with a non-commercial space where they can organize themselves.
How can you help?
Anyone who does not want this space to be lost should set up a permanent donation for the Libelle or increase their existing permanent donation. Additionally, we urgently need one-time larger donations to pay the rent from July to September and thus survive the traditional summer slump.
However, we do not want to have to ring the alarm bells every few months; this should be the last financial crisis for the Libelle. So now or never:

… otherwise, the lease will be terminated, and the Libelle will close its doors forever.
