The new national pastime of relieving bands of their equipment is taking on larger dimensions. On Friday, February 8, it hit the Kassel ska band Skaphonics. Before their performance in Berlin, equipment worth several thousand euros was stolen from their tour bus. Although the concert was able to go on thanks to the loans from other bands, of course, the guys and gals want their instruments back. Any information regarding the whereabouts of the instruments shown here can be sent to Hannes at super-birgi(at)arcor.de.
Right under the reception window of the Baxpax (Skarlitzer Strasse 104, Kreuzberg. U-Bhf. Görlitzer Bahnhof), the rear window of the bus was smashed in the night from Friday to Saturday. Fortunately, not the entire backline was taken, but 2 guitars (Fender Strat and Tele, custom-made) and a Casio Privia PX 110 keyboard with case. Details on one of the two guitars: Model Yngwie Malmsteen Stratocaster with a scalloped fretboard! It has DiMarzio pickups, which is unusual for Stratocaster guitars. Serial number of the stolen Stratocaster: sz5052588
