London's Nova Twins have released their new album "Parasites & Butterflies". Produced by Rich Costey, it blends rock, punk, hip-hop, electronics, and pop in a way that has become typical for the band in recent years, but continues with a clear direction.
The lyrics address fear, identity, mental health, self-empowerment, and resilience. The band aims to not only deliver sound with their music but also to address important themes.
The single "Monsters" was released in advance. The song showcases the mix of hardness and catchy choruses that is characteristic of Nova Twins.
The duo consists of Amy Love and Georgia South. With their sound, they have positioned themselves in the international alternative scene in recent years. Rolling Stone calls them "perhaps the most important band in the UK," while NME states they "are rewriting the rules of alternative music."
