The punk rock band ALARMSIGNAL from Celler will release a new single titled "Fresse auf!" on June 24 via Aggropunk.
Over 20 years of alarm, over 20 years of German punk anthems that take on arbitrariness and injustices – but always with the heart switched on and the head broadcasting. The band was founded in 2000 and now looks back on eight full-length albums, two split records, many contributions to compilations, and countless concerts.
The ever-growing fanbase is thrilled by catchy melodies, fat choruses, and sing-along compatible refrains. Aggressive and angry lyrics alternate with personal lines that often provide deep insights, provoke thought, but always encourage finding a way out, wanting to make a change, and wanting to move things. Alarmsignal serves as both a pressure release valve and soul therapy.
A music journalist once noted in writing that Alarmsignal might be among the last authentic punk bands that the scene has to offer.
