WolfWolf returns with the new single "The Bloody Kiss." The song is the first release from the upcoming album In Delusion and marks an important step in the band's history: For the first time, the Swiss garage punk duo is releasing on the Hamburg label Rookie Records.
With "The Bloody Kiss," WolfWolf dives deep into their central theme: delusion as a societal phenomenon. The song tells the story of a seemingly trivial injury that transforms in the perception of the main character into a vampire myth. Reality tilts into fantasy, fear becomes narrative – an observation of how people construct meaning when control is lost.
Musically, the duo remains true to their raw, reduced approach, but expands the sound with a slightly psychedelic touch. Driving drums, distorted guitar, and an underlying Oriental vibe amplify the song's inner unrest.
"The Bloody Kiss" is straightforward, intense, and deliberately uncomfortable.
"The Bloody Kiss" is the prelude to In Delusion, an album that deals less with death and more with collective illusions, psychological states of exception, and societal rituals of madness. No confessions, no autobiography – but stories observed from the outside and sharpened until it hurts.
