NEW SINGLE "PARTNERS IN CRIME"!
NEW ALBUM "BORN TO KILL" ON MAY 8 VIA EPITAPH!
TOURING STARTS IN JUNE!
"'Partners In Crime' is about finding your own voice – especially when you weren't allowed to before or when it didn't matter," says Social Distortion founder Mike Ness. "And it's about finding comfort in others who share the same feelings, the same fears, and the same anger. Strength through unity."

"Born To Kill," which will be released on May 8 via Epitaph, is more than just the end of a 15-year wait between two Social Distortion albums – it is a revelation: 11 songs full of pure, unfiltered rock rage, joy, and catharsis. All tracks are infused with the characteristic blend of defiance and world-weariness that has made Ness a poet and mentor for the outcasts for over 40 years.
Already praised by ROLLING STONE as "still full of bite" (original: "full of piss and vinegar"), "Born To Kill" leaves no doubt where its heart beats: The powerful title track – which has already reached almost 3 million streams in the month since its release – pays tribute to Lou Reed and Iggy and the Stooges, while the newly released "Partners In Crime" heroizes David Bowie.
Produced by Mike Ness and Dave Sardy, "Born To Kill" also features guest appearances by Benmont Tench (Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers) and Lucinda Williams. The collaborative artwork by Ness and Shepard Fairey completes the overall work. The album is the latest chapter in a remarkable catalog that spans nearly three generations – from "Mommy’s Little Monster" (1983) to the gold-certified "Social Distortion" (1990) to "Hard Times and Nursery Rhymes" (2011).
