The influential rock trio Failure – Ken Andrews, Greg Edwards, and Kelli Scott – recently announced their seventh studio album "Location Lost," which will be released on April 24 through Failure Records/Arduous Records/Virgin Music Group.
The LP features nine new tracks that present a focused, modern, and continuously evolving vision of Failure's absolutely unique sound. Today, they release "A Way Down," the latest single from the album – a wave/goth-influenced rock music gem inspired by two true genre icons.

Musically, 'A Way Down' is a tribute to two bands that actually made me pick up the guitar and try to write my own music: The Cure and Siouxsie & The Banshees, specifically their phase in the early 80s with albums like Juju and Pornography," Andrews notes. "I was captivated by the edgy guitar approach and the uncompromisingly dark atmospheres that emanated from those records. Lyrically, 'A Way Down' is another study of misunderstandings and the resulting loneliness they often bring. There is no silver lining on the horizon here."
