With "DESPERADO", H-BLOCKX from Münster will release another single from their upcoming comeback album "FILLIN_THE_BLANK" on February 13, 2026, which will be released on March 6, 2026, via Solitary Man Records.

Singer Henning Wehland describes the story he tells in the song as "the most honest thing I have ever written". The song is prominently characterized by a female vocal, which, according to the band, was inspired by Alanis Morissette and her role as God in the cult film "Dogma". Born from the initial assumption that the world owes you something, "DESPERADO" ultimately tells of the realization that one must find their way back to themselves, and can only save themselves in doing so. The stirring bridge is, according to Henning Wehland, his confession and continues to tell of his journey inward, which was also the focus of the previous single "COME_CLEAN".
