LIVE IN JUNE 2026 AT THE VAINSTREAM, BERLIN BREAKOUT, AND FAREWELL YOUTH FEST!
Today, the Los Angeles alt-punks Death Lens, who describe themselves as "Brown boys from La Puente," release their new single “Power.” Fresh off a tour with Militarie Gun, the new single is featured in the latest edition of EA's skate video game series. As Death Lens' first new music since "Cold World" from 2024, the catchy guitar riffs and uplifting lyrics are a positive omen to close out a turbulent year.

Frontman Bryan Torres comments:
“I know the world feels out of balance, nothing seems certain, and waiting is no longer an option. We can’t let time dictate our choices or our purpose. The world has never waited for anyone, so we’ve stopped waiting too. That’s POWER. Strength. Resilience. When life seems bleak, we fight harder for what we want and the vision we have for ourselves. A song for everyone who likes it fast, with a message that lifts you up."
The music video for “Power” is directed by Marco Hernandez and features appearances by pro skaters Tristan Funkhouser, Tyler Pacheco, Zach Allen, Marley Humphrey, and O’Conner Nelson.
The band will return to Europe and the United Kingdom next June for numerous festival appearances. Some dates have already been announced, including Berlin Breakout and Vainstream in Germany. The already released and relevant dates for us are listed below.

Following the rhythmic barking of "Cold World," an urgent album that deals with social and political unrest, Death Lens continues to carry the torch for melodic punk from Southern California, enriched with hardcore and social responsibility. “Power” is the latest offering on their ever-evolving journey as a band and as individuals facing burnout and feeling unable to get back up after being knocked down repeatedly. Yet, Torres proclaims: "The world waits for no one" and urges listeners to get back on their feet and look out for one another.
Since 2012, Death Lens has aimed to be constantly in your ears. While they started as typical party garage punks, the band has evolved to use their platform to speak about life in heavily monitored areas, immigration reform, and the use of resources to empower communities. "One world, one community".
