The British punk band Grade 2 presents their captivating new single "Cut Throat," a hard anthem about perseverance in a world that never lets up.
Driven by powerful guitars and a driving rhythm section, the track captures the sound of a band that is fighting to stay one step ahead while the world tries to pull them down.
"Cut Throat is about a world that takes more than it gives. It’s a comment on striving for more in situations where most only look out for themselves. It’s personal perseverance in a time that feels so empty and cold." - Grade 2
The accompanying video, directed by Jason Link and featuring live footage by Flo Ehlich, reduces everything to black-and-white stills from the band's live shows: sweat, movement, and frozen defiant reactions.
It’s raw, unfiltered, and perfectly reflects the spirit of the track – no gloss, no polish, just the truth of the moment.
Grade 2 has announced a series of UK headliner shows for March and April 2026, in addition to their upcoming summer festival appearances. Furthermore, they will accompany Die Toten Hosen to Zurich.
Festival appearances near Germany:
18.06.2026 – Graspop Metal Meeting Festival, Dessel (BE)
20.06.2026 – Letzigrund Stadion, Zurich (CH) as support for Die Toten Hosen
