"BACK 2 BASICS" is a thundering banger, on which the band collaborates with another very well-known name from the French scene: LANDMVRKS!
One band comes from Paris, the other from Marseille, but both fight for the same cause: to uphold the flag for their national metal scene. Mixed and mastered by Florent Salfati (lead singer of Landmvrks), this song has a message that couldn't be clearer: Back, back to the basics!

Rise Of The Northstar frontman Vithia says about the track and the collaboration: "LDMVS & ROTNS have been sharing stages for 10 years. Throughout our respective careers, we have fought to keep a 'new generation' of extreme music alive in France. There is nothing harder than realizing oneself and keeping one's inner flame burning against all odds. We wanted to crystallize that in a radical and direct track. A return to the roots to remind those who criticize us that we have not given up on our dreams and that we want to uphold the flag of French metal."
Lead guitarist Eva-B adds: "'Back 2 Basics' marks the beginning of our collaboration with Flo from Landmvrks. I wrote this track with the desire to break our usual habits by offering a more melodic chorus that creates a strong contrast to the rest of the song. We tried different ideas for the vocals, and that’s when the thought came up to invite Flo, whom we knew could really elevate the song. To our great delight, he immediately accepted the invitation. After recording the vocal parts in his studio in Marseille, he sent us a mix that convinced everyone right away. The sound, the energy, the precision... it was all there. This track was a turning point: from that moment on, it was clear that we wanted to entrust him with the mixing and mastering of our next album."
