Six years after their last studio album, BOOZE & GLORY are back – exactly where it all began: on the streets. With their new album "Whiskey Tango Foxtrot,” set to be released on September 12, 2025, on their new label Concrete Jungle Records, the band returns uncompromisingly to their streetpunk roots. For 15 years now, BOOZE & GLORY have stood for catchy choruses, unbridled energy, and the authenticity of the streets. Founded in London, UK as a classic Oi! / Streetpunk band, they delivered hits with songs like "London Skinhead Crew" and "Only Fools Get Caught" that have been successful far beyond the scene's borders. BOOZE & GLORY have toured with bands like DROPKICK MURPHYS and BAD RELIGION and played at festivals like Punk Rock Holiday (Slovenia), Pol’And’Rock (Poland), and Punk Rock Bowling (Las Vegas).
Following the 2019 album “Hurricane,” which was created together with the guitarist of MILLENCOLIN and led the band into more melodic punk rock territories, “Whiskey Tango Foxtrot” now strikes a much rougher tone again, returning to their roots. Singer Mark RSK puts it succinctly: “The new album is the continuation of our EP ‘Raising the Roof’ from 2022 – but I also hear a lot from ‘As Bold As Brass’ in it.”
The first three singles “Boys Will Be Boys,” “Brace Up,” and “Mad World” emphasize this exactly: singalong anthems in the style of classic streetpunk bands like COCK SPARRER and THE BUSINESS – full of energy, captivating, and made for sweaty club shows.
There is also fresh wind in the personnel at BOOZE & GLORY: With Manny Anzaldo (MAD SIN, RESUREX) on rhythm guitar and Herve JL (DEADLINE, ARGY BARGY, THE FILAMENTS) on bass, two experienced musicians join the band, adding even more pressure to the sound.
The recordings for “Whiskey Tango Foxtrot” took place across three countries – in Italy, Poland, and Mexico. The album title is more than just a code: it represents the question that runs like a common thread through the album – “What The F*** are we doing with this world?”
