On March 20, 2025, the last pre-single from the new Herrenmagazin album "Du hast hier nichts verloren" was released, which will come out on March 28 via Grand Hotel van Cleef.
"'I Am Here for You' describes the wear and tear of a relationship in routine and how one continually pushes against it. How one navigates the pitfalls that one has chosen for oneself, and that one can, must, and will always find their way back to each other. As long as one trusts in love and as long as there is someone who can also engage with this strange truth," the band said about their new single.

About 20 years after the band's formation and almost exactly a decade after their last album "Sippenhaft," they are relatively suddenly and at least as unexpectedly back with their fifth long player: the Hamburg introspection grandmasters of Herrenmagazin. For a long time, it was uncertain - even for the band themselves - whether there would ever be another album from them. But then things started to roll. And they overwhelmed the participants with a density of happy coincidences and creative collisions that left them with no other choice but to complete "Du hast hier nichts verloren" as quickly as possible - their, one might say, most mature and at the same time intriguingly resolved work to date. It comes across as a sincere, friendly laugh, but also one that is rather subtle, or better: unassuming. Not a bright, loud burst of laughter, but rather a knowing, grounded smile that carries all the burdens of aging and learning, yet is still heartfelt and broad.
