Last autumn, the 13th In Extremo album "Wolkenschieber" was released, which was unanimously celebrated by genre media and fans. Often copied, but never reached, In Extremo are among the great innovators of contemporary music history: As the first band to combine medieval stylistic elements with modern, hard rock sounds, they invented a completely unique genre that had never been heard before.
The album debuted at number two on the German album charts, and the subsequent "Wolkenschieber" tour once again proved that In Extremo are not only one of the most extraordinary formations but also among the best live acts in the German-speaking world. Due to the sensational nightly response from visitors, the six musicians decided to document this extraordinary concert journey for themselves and for the enjoyment of their fanbase.
The result will be released as "Wolkenschieber (Ltd. Extended Edition) – Unter dem Blutmond LIVE" on April 11, 2025, in lovingly designed special editions: Exclusively available only in a bundle in the In Extremo shop is the "GIN EXTREMO," created with the In Extremo favorite beverage manufacturer MAMPE, and to top it all off, the band has personally signed the entire limited vinyl edition! For hardcore collectors, there are also a few ultra-rare, signed white labels, limited to just 110 pieces.
2025 will be a special year for In Extremo: The band will celebrate their 30th anniversary together with their fans and 16 bands at their grand three-day anniversary festival on the legendary Loreley!
